CHESS² is my concept for a four-player version of chess. After testing dynamics of play with an early physical prototype, I developed a fleshed out rulebook and modeled a carrying case for my original chess piece designs.
The board splits into three magnetic 4"x12" sections that also function as the case cover, allowing for easy storage and assembly of a larger layout.

ASSOCIATION is a student publication representing Cornell’s College of Architecture, Art, and Planning. I proposed a “parallel” theme to reference the edition’s numerals and express ties between projects. Manifested in a design concept inspired by moiré patterns, my idea framed the book’s visual direction. By appropriating this element in a dust jacket, I introduced a playful, kinetic feature to bring the idea of parallel to life.
Over two years, I rose from novice to Editor in Chief, leading the design, layout, and content organization across many iterative team sessions. We prioritized internal critique from administrative leaders, balancing cost effectiveness and material aesthetics.

Chocolate
Variable Dimensions
As a product design intern for Jacques Torres Chocolate, a gourmet chocolate company, I introduced 3D printing as a new production method to craft molds for 16 original chocolate plaques. I designed distinct imagery commemorating holidays and special occasions in order to capitalize on consumer tendencies, differentiate the product line, and contribute more artisanal elements to the brand.
